Stereolithography – more commonly referred to as SLA 3D printing – is one of the most popular and widespread techniques in the world of additive manufacturing. It works by using a high-powered laser to harden liquid resin that is contained in a reservoir to create the desired 3D shape.

In a nutshell, this process converts the photosensitive liquid into 3D solid plastics in a layer-by-layer fashion using a low-power laser and photopolymerization.

FDM is primarily a rapid prototyping technique that enables the quick, clean and cost-efficient development of prototypes and small functional components. It works through a CAD/CAM based design diagram, which is fed to an FDM system. The system sends design-specific commands to a controller’s head.

This process is repeated layer by layer based on specific design coordinates. The molten material becomes a solid object as soon it is exposed to a cooler environment

Clear: Transparent with Smooth Surface Finish (PLA-like)
Tough: ABS-like or PP-like mechanical properties
Colourful: Vivid Colours with Smooth Surface Finish (PLA-like)
Flesh: Higher resolution and smooth finishes
Hi-Temp: Same finish but handles up to 180 C / 356F

Post Processing
Available methods, such as sanding and polishing, spray coating & finishing with mineral oil.
