What is Selective laser sintering (SLS)?

Selective Laser Sintering is an additive manufacturing (AM) technology. A laser is casted as the power origin to sinter powdered material pointing it automatically at points defined by a 3D prototype, binding the material together to create a solid structure.

It is a new technique used for rapid prototyping and for low-volume production of component parts.
